Follow Anna through her daily life and learn new German words and sentences in a simple, fun way.

In this first episode, Anna plans her week. She sits in a café, orders coffee and apple pie, meets friends, and writes to her family. What does Anna do each day? What words can you already understand?

How to learn best with this story:

  1. First, look at the picture. What do you see? What’s happening?
  2. Then read the English text. Understand the meaning. Try to guess how it might sound in German.
  3. Now read the German text. Read slowly. Say the sentences out loud.

Tip: You don’t have to understand everything right away! The key is repetition, curiosity, and fun.
